We meet at 10am at the gîte. After a briefing from your guide, we'll set off on the first accessible 12 km loop, ideal for getting to know the group and warming up gently. The aim is simple: to get your bearings and enjoy the typical Jura panoramas.
Back at the gîte at around 1pm, we'll share a convivial meal prepared by Damien, your guide, before resuming the afternoon with technical trail climbing and descending workshops from 3pm. Everyone is free to adapt the intensity according to their level.
At the end of the afternoon, return to the gite and relax in the Nordic bath, followed by a stretching session. Meal and evening at the gîte to round off the day.
The day begins with a muscle-building session (optional). After breakfast, we'll set off on an outing dedicated to hill climbing. You'll be able to put into practice the techniques you learned the day before, alternating between walking and running, depending on the gradient.
The afternoon is devoted to discovering orienteering in a fun way, with a variety of workshops that can be adapted to your pace, perfect for improving your skills while having fun.
The day closes with an aperitif and a slide show on trail running, ideal for discussing techniques, equipment and experiences. Dinner follows, with a raclette revisited for sports enthusiasts.
On this third and final day, we embark on the major outing of the trip: the ascent of the Grand Colombier, an emblematic peak well known to cyclists.
Thanks to the rando-course format, everyone can go at their own pace while enjoying the superb balcony paths leading to the summit.
The aim for the day is to climb around 1,000 m in Ascent. The group advances together, in a motivating dynamic that will help you manage your effort and fully enjoy this challenge.
A picnic will be provided en route, so you can enjoy a convivial moment in the heart of nature.
Return to the gîte at the end of the afternoon for a final moment of sharing before saying goodbye.

Hello, I’m Damien!
What drives me when I travel with you? It’s making sure you enjoy the kind of holiday that truly suits you — whether you’re curious, a foodie, sporty, contemplative, or even all of these at once. I want to take you through places that are especially meaningful to me, help you discover them, and above all share stories and conversations along the way.
Take the TGV to Bellegarde-sur-Valserine station.
From there, you can take a regional train to Culoz. Once in Culoz, we can organise a shuttle bus with your guide to Chavornay.
You can also drive to Chavornay and leave your car in a free car park.
If you don't have a car, you should know that we are encouraging car-pooling between participants by creating a whatsapp group 15 days before departure: An opportunity to get to know each other before you even start your expedition!"

Unless safety is at stake (storm, avalanche, flood...).
In this exceptional case, we can cancel an expedition, at least one week before departure.
If this happens:
→ You can postpone your adventure at no cost,
→ Or receive a full refund.
You don’t need to be a top athlete or mountain expert to feel at home. Most Wildhartt participants are between 25 and 60 years old, with a balanced mix of women and men.
Many join solo or in small groups of two or three. They often live in cities and are looking for a meaningful brea some time to reconnect with nature, slow down, and enjoy something real.
They usually have a regular movement practice (hiking, running, yoga...), but not with a competitive mindset. They’re in good shape, but don’t necessarily have technical skills. What brings them together is a shared desire to disconnect, observe, learn, and experience nature in a more grounded, accessible way.
If that speaks to you, you'll feel right at home. The group spirit is kind and open, and the pace adapts to everyone.
