We’ll meet at 2 pm at the Gioberney chalet, right at the far end of the Valgaudemar valley. This easily accessible spot by car marks the start of our immersion in the wild world of the Écrins National Park.
After a briefing from the guide, you’ll begin a gentle climb along a well-marked trail, dotted with several small lakes. This peaceful path will take you to Lac Bleu, a true gem high in the mountains, where we’ll set up our first camp. The site offers a calm and unobstructed setting, ideal for settling down in peace, watching the marmots and getting your bearings.
