With over 20 years' experience at sea, first as a cabin boy and then as a captain from the age of 18, I have more than 25,000 nautical miles under my belt! For me, sailing is a way of discovering one of the last great wildernesses, as well as discovering yourself and others. It's a discipline and a philosophy that I've already passed on to more than 600 people over the course of my life as a sailor.
