Benoit

Mountain leader (AMM)

Having been passionate about the mountains and the great outdoors since childhood, and alongside a career that saw me spend over 20 years advising businesses on ecological transition, I decided to become a Mountain Guide in 2019.

In an increasingly urban and digital world, I am convinced that reconnecting with life and nature – whether spectacular or ordinary – is essential to our well-being. Listening to the silence of the mountains in the early morning, coming across a herd of chamois, watching a bearded vulture in flight, recognising a deer’s hoofprint, understanding how a high-altitude plant adapts… these are all discoveries and emotions I wish to share with you.

“The mountains speak to us” is my guiding principle: the mountain environment is particularly complex and fragile. Understanding and respecting it guides my steps, alongside you.

I’ve been trail running for over 20 years, driven by a desire for discovery and enjoyment. I’ve completed numerous trail runs and ultra-trails: SwissPeaks 380, UTMB, TDS, 90 km du Mont Blanc, Eiger Ultra-trail, Echappée Belle Intégrale, UT4M, Pierra Menta Summer…

If I’m not out and about in the mountains in my trainers, you might find me in the Nordic countries, immersed in the heart of the taiga or the tundra.
