We'll meet at 9am at Montroc le Planet. After a briefing from your guide, you'll set off on your first outing around the hostel. The aim: to get your bearings, warm up and enjoy the Alpine scenery. In the afternoon, Violette will accompany you on practical workshops: using your poles, managing the ascent and descent, advice on finding your own rhythm, before returning to the Mountain hut.
In the evening, those who wish can take part in a short wildlife observation walk.
This morning, a short train ride takes you to the last village before the Swiss border. You set off for a great day in the mountains, in the heart of the Mont Blanc Massif. This is an opportunity to put into practice the techniques you learned the day before, while admiring the spectacular views. You guide also shares tips on nutrition and managing your effort during the race.
At the end of the day, you take the train back to the hostel to enjoy a good meal. In the evening, you can take part in an introduction to orienteering or simply gaze at the stars.
On this last day, you will explore the opposite side of the mountain range, between forests and blueberry bushes. The route, which is smoother than the previous day, will help you gain confidence and enjoy yourself even more.
At the end of the afternoon, the loop ends in the village of Argentière, where you can enjoy some homemade ice cream before returning to the inn to collect your belongings and say goodbye after three days of adventure.

For the last nine years, I've been living in the heart of the Chamonix valley, carried along by the rhythm of nature and the mountains. It's hard for me to stay indoors: a day without fresh air feels incomplete. I love the immensity of the peaks, the tranquillity of the undergrowth and the unexpected encounter with an animal on the path. I admire both the speed that pushes you to excel and the slowness that invites you to contemplate.
But above all, I love sharing these intense moments and making each outing a human and natural adventure.
It is possible to travel by train to Montroc station.
From the station, a short 15-minute walk will take you to the alpine chalet, your base camp for the expedition.
You can also drive to Montroc and leave your car in a free car park.
If you don't have a car, you should know that we encourage car-pooling between participants by creating a whatsapp group 15 days before departure: An opportunity to get to know each other before you even start your expedition!

You don’t need to be a top athlete or mountain expert to feel at home. Most Wildhartt participants are between 25 and 60 years old, with a balanced mix of women and men.
Many join solo or in small groups of two or three. They often live in cities and are looking for a meaningful brea some time to reconnect with nature, slow down, and enjoy something real.
They usually have a regular movement practice (hiking, running, yoga...), but not with a competitive mindset. They’re in good shape, but don’t necessarily have technical skills. What brings them together is a shared desire to disconnect, observe, learn, and experience nature in a more grounded, accessible way.
If that speaks to you, you'll feel right at home. The group spirit is kind and open, and the pace adapts to everyone.
