What you will experience

Alternating sailing and climbing by the sea: two adventure areas linked by the Mediterranean.
Sail between the red cliffs of the Estérel and the turquoise waters of the Côte d'Azur, a striking contrast that can only be seen from the sea.
Take the helm and take part in every manoeuvre: sails, navigation, weather and nautical charts will no longer hold any secrets for you.
Climb the red walls of Cap Dramont that plunge straight into the sea, one of the most spectacular sites in the Esterel.
Spend six days aboard a sailing yacht in wild anchorages, coves and Mediterranean ports of call.

Hello, I’m Andrea, a cruising sailing instructor since 2014, and holder of the BPJEPS and CS Croisière qualifications. Born in Italy, I discovered sailing in Barcelona before training in Corsica. Passionate about cruising, I teach all year round in the Gulf of Lion, near Montpellier, where I run my own sailing school. My aim is to share the joy of sailing in a friendly atmosphere, whilst ensuring complete safety. I am also certified as a Recreational Sailing Coach by the French Sailing Federation.

Hi, my name is Sarah. At the age of 25, I discovered a late-blooming passion for cruising, which led me to train in Bonifacio, in Southern Corsica, where I obtained my CQP as a sailing instructor. Ten years on, sailing has become my career: I now work with sailing schools and sailing holidays as a project coordinator. I love sharing this passion and helping to create wonderful experiences at sea.

What level should you expect

Level 2

WHO IS IT FOR?
You want to discover sailing by actively taking part in the manoeuvres, while also climbing the limestone cliffs that plunge into the Mediterranean.

You're at the right level if:
  • You've never sailed before and want to learn: manoeuvres, helming and reading nautical charts are all explained over the course of the week.
  • You're ready to live aboard as part of the crew for 6 nights, with simple comforts: shared cabins, limited sanitary facilities.
  • You're a beginner or already have some climbing experience: routes are adapted to each person's level during the two dedicated climbing days, at Cap Dramont and La Turbie.
  • You can walk around 10 km with 500 m of ascent without difficulty, for the approaches to the cliffs.
  • You're comfortable alternating between coastal sailing (helming, sails) and roped cliff climbing, guided by a skipper and a local climbing instructor.

What kind of people usually join Wildhartt expeditions ?

You don’t need to be a top athlete or adventure expert to feel at home. Most Wildhartt participants are between 25 and 60 years old, with a balanced mix of women and men.

Many join solo or in small groups of two or three. They often live in cities and are looking for a meaningful brea some time to reconnect with nature, slow down, and enjoy something real.

They usually have a regular movement practice (hiking, running, yoga...), but not with a competitive mindset. They’re in good shape, but don’t necessarily have technical skills. What brings them together is a shared desire to disconnect, observe, learn, and experience nature in a more grounded, accessible way.

If that speaks to you, you'll feel right at home. The group spirit is kind and open, and the pace adapts to everyone.

What happens if the weather is bad?

At Wildhartt, nature is our playground, rain or shine. Rain, snow or wind: our guides adapt the itinerary, activities and accommodation to guarantee you the best possible experience.
Unless safety is at stake (storm, avalanche, flood...).

In this exceptional case, we can cancel an expedition, at least one week before departure.
If this happens:
→ You can postpone your adventure at no cost,
→ Or receive a full refund.

What does the price of a Wildhartt adventure include?

At Wildhartt, transparency is essential. The price of your expedition reflects a clear breakdown of costs:

  • 30% for our guides, the mainstays of every adventure.
  • 35% for accommodation and meals, essential for your comfort.
  • 10% for equipment and transport, to guarantee safety and fluidity.
  • 25% for organisation and logistics, from first contact to the end of the expedition.
  • 1% for the rewilding of Europe, a concrete commitment to give back to nature what it gives us.

Our priority: to offer you a quality experience, with complete clarity.
