DAY 1 / 3
Accommodation
Gîte
Activity time
6h
We meet at 8.30am at the Font-Romeu resort. After meeting the group and a briefing from the guide, we'll set off on our first via ferrata in Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet. Equipped with a harness and a safety belt, you will progress along a ridge equipped with rungs, footbridges and a suspension bridge. The route takes you above the region's famous vineyards, in an open, sunny setting (there are escape routes to shorten the route if necessary).

In the afternoon, the atmosphere changes with the canyon of the Gorges de Galamus. You'll discover a deep canyon with clear waters, alternating between swimming, small jumps (which can always be avoided) and natural slides. The guide will adapt the route to the level of the group.

Return to your accommodation at the end of the day for a moment's rest and a convivial dinner with local flavours.
DAY 2 / 3
Accommodation
Gîte
Activity time
7h
Today, you will discover climbing on a granite school cliff in the morning. The routes are suitable for beginners and advanced climbers. The guide will help you learn the basics: movement, balance, use of equipment and safety instructions. Everyone climbs at their own pace, either with the guide or on a tightrope.

In the afternoon, it's off to the Llech canyon, reputed to be one of the most beautiful in Europe. For more than two hours, there's one obstacle after another: jumps, natural slides and abseiling. All the jumps can be avoided if you prefer.

Return to your accommodation at the end of the day.
DAY 3 / 3
Activity time
6h
For this final day, we're off to a wilder canyon on the slopes of the Canigou, the emblematic peak of the Catalan Pyrenees. An approach walk of around an hour will take you to the entrance of the canyon.

You'll then make your way through a more rugged environment, alternating between jumps (adaptable), slides and abseiling. The trip ends with a final abseil of around 50 metres, guided and secured by the guide. This descent is often a highlight of the trip, although it is not compulsory if an alternative is preferable depending on the conditions.

End of the activity in the afternoon and return to the starting point.

FrenchFrench

Born in Perpignan in 1979 and raised between Cerdagne and Capcir, I caught the mountain bug early on: skiing, climbing and then ski touring. After a spell in engineering, I left it all behind and moved to Chamonix to become a mountain guide and ski instructor. Since 2009, I've been back in the Pyrenees, where I'm delighted to share my passion and safety with you.

What happens if the weather is bad?

At Wildhartt, nature is our playground, rain or shine. Rain, snow or wind: our guides adapt the itinerary, activities and accommodation to guarantee you the best possible experience.

What kind of people usually join Wildhartt expeditions ?

You don’t need to be a top athlete or adventure expert to feel at home. Most Wildhartt participants are between 25 and 60 years old, with a balanced mix of women and men.

Many join solo or in small groups of two or three. They often live in cities and are looking for a meaningful brea some time to reconnect with nature, slow down, and enjoy something real.

They usually have a regular movement practice (hiking, running, yoga...), but not with a competitive mindset. They’re in good shape, but don’t necessarily have technical skills. What brings them together is a shared desire to disconnect, observe, learn, and experience nature in a more grounded, accessible way.

If that speaks to you, you'll feel right at home. The group spirit is kind and open, and the pace adapts to everyone.

What does the price of a Wildhartt adventure include?

At Wildhartt, transparency is essential. The price of your expedition reflects a clear breakdown of costs:

  • 30% for our guides, the mainstays of every adventure.
  • 35% for accommodation and meals, essential for your comfort.
  • 10% for equipment and transport, to guarantee safety and fluidity.
  • 25% for organisation and logistics, from first contact to the end of the expedition.
  • 1% for the rewilding of Europe, a concrete commitment to give back to nature what it gives us.

Our priority: to offer you a quality experience, with complete clarity.
