  1. DAY1/ 7
    • Accommodation - Sailing boatAccommodation·Sailing boat

We’ll meet at 3 pm at Port de Pollença in Mallorca. We’ll get our bearings on board the boat: a 12-metre Oceanis 393, which will be our floating home for the week. We’ll start by settling into our cabins and organising the provisions.

This is followed by a safety briefing, led by the skippers to set out the rules for life on board and answer any questions. We’ll then take some time to discuss everyone’s expectations so we can tailor the programme to the group’s ability and preferences. We’ll spend the first evening on board, enjoying the peaceful setting of Pollença Bay.

As someone who loves the Mediterranean and its islands, I became a cruising sailing instructor after starting my career in the humanitarian sector. Since then, I’ve been guiding those who want to experience sailing differently: learning at their own pace, gaining confidence on board, slowing down, taking a breather, and simply enjoying the sea. I hold the BPJEPS cruising sailing qualification.

Frequently asked questions

Is it suitable for beginner sailors?

This course has been specifically designed for people who want to try their hand at sailing or improve their skills, without necessarily having sailed before. No previous experience is required.

How comfortable is the sailing boat?

The yacht is an Oceanis 393, a 12-metre sailing yacht. The layout comprises two cabins with double beds and a bathroom/WC for the trainees’ use. The guides occupy the yacht’s third cabin. The communal lounge/kitchen area (the boat’s ‘saloon’) is spacious and cosy. The cockpit outside is also spacious and equipped with a table and a sun awning to provide shelter from the heat.

What’s sailing like in the Balearic Islands?

The Balearic Islands offer the ideal setting for learning and improving your sailing skills. With their numerous sheltered coves, short distances between anchorages and generally mild conditions, the archipelago is a particularly well-suited playground. Each day is also organised according to the weather, the crew’s ability and the participants’ preferences, to ensure an experience that is enriching, comfortable and safe.

What are meals like on board the sailing boat?

The instructors will help you plan your shopping and the weekly menu by organising discussions and providing basic shopping lists via a WhatsApp group, which they will set up in advance of the course. It is therefore the course participants who choose and organise the provisioning, with expert guidance from the instructors. On board, we’ll adopt a communal kitchen approach where everyone pitches in, whether it’s cooking, washing up or helping with the daily tidying of the boat.

Are instalment payment options available?

Yes, that's right! At checkout, you can choose the Alma option to pay for your booking in 2x, 3x or 4x. All you have to do is select Alma at checkout and follow the instructions. It's simple, fast and secure.

Can I privatise this expedition for my group?

Yes, all our expeditions can be privatised for a group already formed, on the dates of your choice.

To make your request, go to the expedition that interests you and click on "Privatise the expedition". We'll take care of the rest!

What happens if the weather is bad?

At Wildhartt, nature is our playground, rain or shine. Rain, snow or wind: our guides adapt the itinerary, activities and accommodation to guarantee you the best possible experience.
Unless safety is at stake (storm, avalanche, flood...).

In this exceptional case, we can cancel an expedition, at least one week before departure.
If this happens:
→ You can postpone your adventure at no cost,
→ Or receive a full refund.

What kind of people usually join Wildhartt expeditions ?

You don’t need to be a top athlete or adventure expert to feel at home. Most Wildhartt participants are between 25 and 60 years old, with a balanced mix of women and men.

Many join solo or in small groups of two or three. They often live in cities and are looking for a meaningful brea some time to reconnect with nature, slow down, and enjoy something real.

They usually have a regular movement practice (hiking, running, yoga...), but not with a competitive mindset. They’re in good shape, but don’t necessarily have technical skills. What brings them together is a shared desire to disconnect, observe, learn, and experience nature in a more grounded, accessible way.

If that speaks to you, you'll feel right at home. The group spirit is kind and open, and the pace adapts to everyone.

What does the price of a Wildhartt adventure include?

At Wildhartt, transparency is essential. The price of your expedition reflects a clear breakdown of costs:

  • 30% for our guides, the mainstays of every adventure.
  • 35% for accommodation and meals, essential for your comfort.
  • 10% for equipment and transport, to guarantee safety and fluidity.
  • 25% for organisation and logistics, from first contact to the end of the expedition.
  • 1% for the rewilding of Europe, a concrete commitment to give back to nature what it gives us.

Our priority: to offer you a quality experience, with complete clarity.
