DAY 1 / 6
Accommodation

On the programme
Arrival
When you arrive, you'll be met and taken to the chalet. Once you've settled in, you'll have time to explore the grounds and soak up the calm, unspoilt surroundings.

The evening is spent getting to know the group and your hosts over an initial dinner prepared on site. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, ideal for a gradual introduction to your stay. Depending on the season, you can already enjoy the amazing light of the midnight sun.
DAY 2 / 6
Accommodation
Swedish lodge
The day begins with a presentation of the holiday, the environment and the dogs you'll be working with during the week. You'll then set off on an electric scooter to explore the forest tracks.

Easy to learn, this activity allows you to cover the first few kilometres gently and familiarise yourself with the Lappish landscape: large pine forests, wide tracks and undulating terrain.

Back at the chalet, you can enjoy some free time to rest or explore the surrounding area. At the end of the day, if you wish, you can enjoy a traditional sauna, which is very much part of Nordic culture. The evening continues with a dinner prepared by your hosts.
DAY 3 / 6
Accommodation
Swedish lodge
After breakfast, you'll get to know the dogs in more detail before setting off on a cani-rando. Wearing a harness attached to your dog, you can move at your own pace along trails in the heart of the boreal forest.

This activity is both accessible and engaging, and allows you to quickly establish a relationship with the animal. At midday, there's a break for a picnic in the wilderness, accompanied by an introduction to fire lighting, a traditional Lapland practice.

Back at the chalet, the end of the day is free to relax, take a sauna or socialise with the group. Dinner is served on site in a warm and simple atmosphere.
DAY 4 / 6
Accommodation
Swedish lodge
Today you're off to discover the natural site of Gimegolts. This canyon, formed around 9,000 years ago at the end of the last Ice Age, is one of the region's most striking landscapes.

The day is spent walking through the forest, passing along the edge of the canyon and enjoying uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. It's an opportunity to gain a better understanding of how these northern landscapes were formed, and to observe a wilderness that is still very much intact.

At the end of the day, return to the chalet for a moment of relaxation. As on previous days, you can take advantage of the sauna before sharing dinner with the group. The late light often makes it possible to extend the evening outside.
DAY 5 / 6
Accommodation
Swedish lodge
This day is devoted to discovering the Lapland lakes by canoe. After getting to grips with your equipment, you'll set off on a calm stretch of water, surrounded by forests and open landscapes.

Progress is made at a leisurely pace, conducive to observation and disconnection. There will be a break for lunch in the middle of nature.

Back at the chalet, you'll enjoy a final evening out. This is often the perfect time to catch up on the highlights of your stay, over a meal prepared by your hosts in a convivial atmosphere.
DAY 6 / 6

Frequently asked questions

How comfortable is your home?

Throughout your stay, you'll sleep in a cosy, typically Swedish chalet. Two chalets will be available: one for 6 people (with 2 double beds and 1 bunk bed), and the other for 4 people (with 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed). Each chalet has its own bathroom, for maximum comfort and privacy. If you're coming with a group, we'll put you up together in the same chalet. If you come on your own, you will share your accommodation with other participants, taking care not to mix men and women.

Will I have to cook on site?

No, food preparation is included and will be lovingly prepared by Fred and Elsa, the chalet owners.

Do you need to be in any particular physical condition to take part?

This holiday has been specially designed to be accessible to everyone. All you need is a normal level of fitness, and the activities are suitable for everyone, with experienced guides to accompany you.

How do I get to the meeting place?

You can get to Arvidsjaur by plane, but also by train! If you'd like to come by train, we can put you in direct contact with our partner who will take care of booking and organising the train journey to Arvidsjaur.

What time does the shuttle pick us up in Arvidsjaur on the first day?

The shuttle picks up all the participants at the same time, so we can all start the adventure together. The timetable is set according to everyone's arrivals: we always adapt to the last participant to land in Arvidsjaur. In concrete terms, the departure is in the late afternoon at the earliest, once everyone has arrived. You will, of course, receive the precise timetable a few days before departure.

Are instalment payment options available?

Yes, that's right! At checkout, you can choose the Alma option to pay for your booking in 2x, 3x or 4x. All you have to do is select Alma at checkout and follow the instructions. It's simple, fast and secure.

Can I privatise this expedition for my group?

Yes, all our expeditions can be privatised for a group already formed, on the dates of your choice.

To make your request, go to the expedition that interests you and click on "Privatise the expedition". We'll take care of the rest!

What happens if the weather is bad?

At Wildhartt, nature is our playground, rain or shine. Rain, snow or wind: our guides adapt the itinerary, activities and accommodation to guarantee you the best possible experience.
Unless safety is at stake (storm, avalanche, flood...).

In this exceptional case, we can cancel an expedition, at least one week before departure.
If this happens:
→ You can postpone your adventure at no cost,
→ Or receive a full refund.

What kind of people usually join Wildhartt expeditions ?

You don’t need to be a top athlete or adventure expert to feel at home. Most Wildhartt participants are between 25 and 60 years old, with a balanced mix of women and men.

Many join solo or in small groups of two or three. They often live in cities and are looking for a meaningful brea some time to reconnect with nature, slow down, and enjoy something real.

They usually have a regular movement practice (hiking, running, yoga...), but not with a competitive mindset. They’re in good shape, but don’t necessarily have technical skills. What brings them together is a shared desire to disconnect, observe, learn, and experience nature in a more grounded, accessible way.

If that speaks to you, you'll feel right at home. The group spirit is kind and open, and the pace adapts to everyone.

What does the price of a Wildhartt adventure include?

At Wildhartt, transparency is essential. The price of your expedition reflects a clear breakdown of costs:

  • 30% for our guides, the mainstays of every adventure.
  • 35% for accommodation and meals, essential for your comfort.
  • 10% for equipment and transport, to guarantee safety and fluidity.
  • 25% for organisation and logistics, from first contact to the end of the expedition.
  • 1% for the rewilding of Europe, a concrete commitment to give back to nature what it gives us.

Our priority: to offer you a quality experience, with complete clarity.
