Gran Paradiso: climb your first 4,000-meter peak with a guide

Hi, I'm Patrick, a mountain guide from the Piedmont region. I became a mountain guide in 2018 and since then I've never left the peaks! As a mountain rescue instructor, I love sharing my experience and knowledge. Whether in Monte Rosa, my native Piedmont or Valle d'Aosta, the Italian Alps are my playground and my home.

With 30 years' experience as a mountain guide, I'll be sharing my techniques with you, but above all, my pleasure in experiencing nature to the full. Together, we'll explore my vision of the mountains: fabulous landscapes, dreamy peaks, new cultures, and maybe... the summit of your dreams!

I look forward to seeing you, whether you're on skis, climbing shoes, crampons or simply hiking boots.

Yves Astier is a mountain guide with a passion for alpine adventure. In summer and winter alike, he leads demanding ski touring, off-piste skiing, mountaineering, rock climbing and ice climbing expeditions. His approach focuses as much on safety as on the pleasure of progressing and evolving in the mountains.

Hi, I'm August, and I've been guiding in the far north of Norway for over 8 years. Skiing in front of the sea, under the northern lights, or simply enjoying nature, that's what makes me tick. Guiding is above all about sharing my passion and helping you discover places that are close to my heart, in a safe environment. Experiencing exceptional moments in the great outdoors is my raison d'être, and that's what I promise you when I accompany you.

Hello, I'm Nicolas, IFMGA/UIAGM guide since 2006. I'm passionate about rock and ice, and my love of the mountains led me to leave the city and move to Villeneuve, at the entrance to the Gran Paradiso valley, in 2002.

When I accompany clients, I like to share with them the pleasure of adventure and the great passion I have for the high mountains.

Hello, I'm Aurélien, a mountain guide based in Savoie, near Megève. Through mountaineering and ski touring, I like above all to share the time I spend up there and help people discover the mountain in all its richness. What fascinates me about this job is the adventure as much as the human experience: being out in nature, getting out of your comfort zone and experiencing great moments together.

Behind every expedition is a passionate guide who lives and breathes the mountains. He or she will take you to his or her favourite playgrounds, with the aim of sharing a simple, human and profoundly exotic experience.

I was born in Grenoble and have always grown up in the mountains, walking, skiing and climbing. I became a guide because of my passion for the great outdoors, and I like to guide you with a simple, reassuring and attentive approach. My aim is to ensure that you feel confident and can fully enjoy the magic of the high mountains.

As a mountain leader and naturalist guide for 23 years, I know my mountain like the back of my hand and I love meeting people above all else. I'd be delighted to guide you through this region that I love so much.

Coming from the flat country of Belgium and being a mountain guide sounds like a bit of an oxymoron, but here I am, Olivier , 33 years old. Very enthusiastic about the idea of getting off the beaten track, it's with boundless enthusiasm that I'll be guiding you through the magical world of the high mountains, far from the hustle and bustle of the valleys. It's with the same enthusiasm that I'll be sharing the conviviality of the post-race moments over a good beer... Belgian!

Born in Cogne, a village nestled in the heart of the mountains, I grew up surrounded by peaks. At 28, mountaineering has been part of my life since childhood. Today, I'm fortunate enough to be able to turn this passion into a profession: guiding, passing on and helping people discover the mountains who want to experience them to the full.

Sharing these experiences, in complete safety and in a spirit of conviviality, is at the heart of my commitment as a guide. I speak Italian, French, English and Spanish, so I can accompany travellers from all horizons.
