We meet at 10am at our hostel in Bled. After a welcome coffee to get acquainted, we set off on foot to the boat launch. The Sava Dolinka, a gentle, accessible alpine river, is the perfect place to start, with its gentle currents, unspoilt nature and splendid scenery.
After this first introductory descent, head for the mythical Lake Bled. Take a packraft across to the isolated church on the island, then paddle back across the calm waters dominated by the castle and the mountains. In the evening, depending on the mood of the group, a convivial dinner in a local restaurant.
This morning, take the bus or train to Lake Bohinj, the jewel in the crown of the Triglav National Park. Take a peaceful packraft across the lake, surrounded by cliffs and forests.
The river Sava Bohinjka then escapes the lake: its first few kilometres form a tranquil gorge, ideal for enjoying the peace and quiet. Gradually, the rapids intensify, with a more sporting section to test your skills. Return to Bled at the end of the day, with a sunset crossing of the lake.
The final stretch on the Sava Dolinka, in an Alpine setting marked by sharp peaks and deep forests. A shorter stage, perfect for consolidating technique and confidence.
In the afternoon, train through the mountains to reach the valley of the Soča, one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe. Settle in Bovec, in the heart of the Julian Alps.
From Bovec, set off for the Koritnica, a more confidential but splendid river. Its turquoise waters and deep ravines offer a wild and unspoilt setting.
A short but intense route, ideal for getting into shape before the big descent of the Soča. Return to Bovec at the end of the day to share a final meal together and prepare for the climax of the trip.
The course closes with the legendary Soča, considered to be one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe. Its brilliant turquoise waters and playful rapids offer a unique playground.
The course alternates between narrow gorges and technical sections, between intensity and calmer moments. The second gorge, bathed in spectacular light, will undoubtedly remain one of the finest memories of the expedition.
A complete descent, between adrenalin and contemplation, to conclude five days of unforgettable alpine and aquatic adventure.

Many join solo or in small groups of two or three. They often live in cities and are looking for a meaningful brea some time to reconnect with nature, slow down, and enjoy something real.
They usually have a regular movement practice (hiking, running, yoga...), but not with a competitive mindset. They’re in good shape, but don’t necessarily have technical skills. What brings them together is a shared desire to disconnect, observe, learn, and experience nature in a more grounded, accessible way.
If that speaks to you, you'll feel right at home. The group spirit is kind and open, and the pace adapts to everyone.
